Paris…Texas, that is.
Friday, March 30th, 2007It’s Joe’s hometown. You might be interested to know that there is a small Eiffel Tower there. We didn’t take a picture of it, though. Sorry to disappoint you. Because we were gone for just over a month, I’ll do an update in installments. Here’s part one (actually part two since the only update I did on the road was from Paris). But, I digress. Back to the issue at hand.
We started our trip with Joe’s family in Paris (northeast TX). We spent most of our days outside, and we took a ridiculous amount of photos, so I’ll include some random photos this time and some yet to be disclosed (secret) photos next time. If you’re tired of seeing pictures of Evan, read no further. He is who the grandparents really want to see, right?
Here’s the little guy playing in the dirt. (Yes, he needed a bath every day).
He played with little wheelbarrows…
And BIG wheelbarrows:
We had a great time playing outside, but there were plenty of good times inside, too. Joe’s mom spoiled us with her great cooking. She makes the BEST cherry pie:
Hanging out with Joe’s family was a great way to start our trip. Until next time, Paris. It was fun!
