Visualize Your Bible Reading Plan
Jan 19
Crossway Bibles has published a number of Bible Reading Plans (which is cool in itself), but the folks at ESV Blog have taken it even further. Now you can visualize what parts of the Bible you’ll be reading simultaneously throughout the year. Check it out after the jump.
You can see the Bible Reading Plans visualized here.
OpenBible.info has taken this even further by charting the verse distribution in each of these plans. For instance, in the M’Cheyne One-Year Reading Plan, which I’m using right now, I can see that there will be one day this year when I only read 55 verses in the plan, but other days I might read over 180. You may use these charts to help you decide to use one of the plans that is more evenly distributed. Or you may just think it’s cool. Or you may not be a nerd like me.
You can implement these Bible Reading Plans in a number of ways:
- Web: Read it online
- RSS: Read it in your favorite RSS Feed Reader
- Email: Read it in a daily email
- iCal: Have the plan in iCal (for Apple users) or Google Calendar (see how to set it up here)
- Mobile: Read it on your mobile phone
- Print: Print the plan (not the text itself) in a nice, but simple, format

i wanted to tell you THANKS for the christmas postcard. really sweet and cute
