On Easter Eve, we decided to let the kids watch The Jesus Film for Children. While we were watching it, our sweet little E started saying “Jesus.” We couldn’t believe how clear it was. The name of Jesus is even sweeter coming from the mouth of a baby.

My children have never dressed up for Halloween. They think Santa says, “Ha Ha Ha.” And they don’t know much of the Easter Bunny. But we have dyed Easter eggs and hunted for them and we put up our Christmas tree every year the weekend after Thanksgiving, among other things. I don’t have a problem with those things – except the Easter bunny. I was horrified of larger than life costumes as a kid. Horrified. Some people are okay with standing in line at the mall to have their child sit on Santa’s lap, or maybe even the Easter bunny’s lap *Shudder*. I am not one of those people.
