{On Moving}

Jul 05

Months before our move, we began the process of sorting, selling and donating items, packing, and so on. It quickly became evident that this process, though a ton of work for us parents, was quite fun for the kids. Their only concern with selling our coffee table was, “But WHERE (dramatic hands) are we going to eat our PIZZAAAAA?” (We had Friday movie nights in the living room).

We made up for our lack of a tables with a sense of adventure. They thought eating on the floor was fun.

And they soon realized that less furniture equals more room to play.

Yes, that is an almost 18 month old boy in a pink doll stroller. She was trying to make him smile for the picture in the first two shots, but he was already smiling.

We are glad the packing and moving out phase is complete, but it was fun while it lasted.
